HOW IT WORKS
The e2 classic energy monitor is simple to install and easy to use. The standard current sensors are clipped on to the 3 live supply cables. The leads from the sensor is plugged into the energy transmitter, which then wirelessly sends real time data to the energy monitor. The monitor receives the data and displays the demand in kilowatts of energy being consumed at any given time. It can also display the cost and the amount of Co2 needed to produce the electricity. The monitor shows the total of all 3 phases.
Download your data:
Download your energy consumption data to your PC or Mac and analyse it with the efergy elink software. View informative graphs, print and save your energy data in Excel and PDF format
Instant Energy Use:
The e2 classic updates every 10, 15 or 20 seconds. The display then shows how much energy is consumed at that moment and how much it will cost if the ‘energy now’ load is maintained for a period of one day.
The e2 classic displays your average energy usage per day, week and month. See the impact of your energy efficient efforts, and then watch your average energy usage reduce.
The e2 classic memory function allows you to view your energy usage by the day, week or month. The e2 classic helps you understand your energy usage and how it changes over time.

Great for monitoring energy usage Review by George
Price Value Quality
I use it for pretty much what it says on the box - monitor energy usage. I found it easy to set up and the batteries have so far lasted for over 13 months. I have not tried to use any of the advanced facilities, only the "Energy Now" mode to monitor power usage mainly to a heated greenhouse in case any of the heaters either fail or get stuck full on, and it also clearly shows when additional appliances switch on or off. Great piece of equipment Review by D A - Porto

I am quite amazed at what this device is capable of doing. The diminutive case is very much 'Apple like' and not at all cheap looking. The installation is very easy and the monitor can be mounted in various ways or can easily be carried around. I have had no problem with signal strength and my transmitter is mounted inside a metal "switch box" ( I am in Portugal and have a three phase supply) and even so I can carry the monitor around my quite large garden and see how certain outside devices affect the power being taken.
It offers many facilities for collecting data and I can't see that anyone would want more information to be able to understand where they are using power but I guarantee some surprises and it is quite difficult to reduce the last 500 watts or so.
The software for logging the figures on to a PC, or in my case an iMac, gives a good clear display with clear menus and it is very easy to switch from one unit (power; cost; Day; Week, etc. etc.)
I had one slight misunderstanding of the instructions (entirely my mistake) and I telephoned their Sheffield Help Line and got immediate, friendly advice.
I don't care where this unit is made, the design and the implementation is superbly carried out and you have the huge advantage of accessible support.
I can't recommend it enough and at this price, everyone should have one. Well done Efergy (Posted on 30/05/2012)
